TECHNICAL  FEATURES OF MIDDLE SIDES AND STRUCTURAL TOPS ON  FLOOR AND  TO  CEILING - Made of  18 mm  ecological wooden chip board, 22 mm thick, high-strength melamine-coated materials in aluminum finish. Edged with double-balloon seal for hydro-thermo-acoustic insulation. The sides have a double set of holes for assembly of structural tops,  for equipping of hinges for doors, for adjustable positioning of self-centering pins of middle shelves, for fixing of  filer drawer slides; further provided of  leveling feet on the inner side of the sides.

INITIAL AND FINAL SIDES  - Made with two coupled ecological chipboard panels. The outer panel 18 mm thick is covered  with high-strength melamine materials and bordered with ABS thick border and rounded edges. Wood and pastel finishes. The inner panel 14 mm thick coated on both sides with high strength melamine materials and bordered with ABS thick edge with  balloon for  hydro-thermal and acoustic insulation. Aluminum Finishes. The coupled sides have a thickness of 32 mm and allow, with a technic system of  coupling, to  uniform the gap  in the joints of all modules. The sides have a double set of holes for the assembly of structural tops, both of wood and metal,  for tooling of  hinges of the doors,  for the positioning of  self-centering pins of mobile metal tops,  for fixing of  drawer filers runners; are also equipped with leveling feet from the inner panel side.

DRAWER FILING FRONT PANELS - Made in the finish and thickness of the doors.

MOBILE TOPS  AND INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURAL METAL  TOPS - Made in steel sheet, thickness 8 / 10, prepared for inserting and sliding of the hanging folders. Epoxy powder coating aluminum color. The tops show 4 notching, 2 for each side, for solid joining to the pins with self centering neck chuck with extreme rapidity.

WOODEN DOORS - Made of  “ecological” wood agglomerate, 18 mm thick, high-strength materials melamine-coated in the same finishes, wood and pastel shades, as the partition wall panels. ABS edge thickness with rounded corners in the same finish as the doors. The doors are standardly equipped with a 2-3-4  pairs of hinges according  to their height with 90 ° opening (optional with 180 ° hinges). The entire door, the base door and the central door, is equipped with lock with sliding rod. The upper door has a fixed knob.

GLASS DOORS - These are made in two versions. Version 5 mm thick pure tempered glass transparent and etched (frosted). The doors are standardly equipped with a 2-3-4  pairs of hinges in relation to the same height, with 90 ° opening (on demand with 180 ° hinges). The doors are equipped only with knob without lock, regardless the height. Version with aluminum frame, having a  profile fitted with seal, 4 mm thick tempered glass, transparent and  etched (frosted). The doors are standardly equipped with knobs with or without lock and 2-3-4 pairs kf  hinges in relation to the same height, with 90 ° opening (on demand with 180 ° hinges).

MODULES – The joint lines characterizing the modules of the Facta office walls are the same as Tecna office partition walls in vertical modules. Moreover, without the addition of the upper adjusting panel but with a top, the office walls can become an open space or furniture system under the windows or as a cover for fan coil units.

JOINTS - Aluminum fittings provide necessary joints for office fitted walls and between partition wall and fitted wall.

UPRIGHT - The upright  consists of a shaped galvanized steel profile, 12/10 thick, size 60x32 mm cold profiled and seam welded, suitably slotted for technical usage and inclusive of co-extruded  insulating  hydro / thermal / acoustic,  anti-shock and anti-dust seals. The profile shows a double slotting on the major  side, on the outer sides every 32 mm,  to allow the locking of the  panels’ hooks and of  glass modules, at the center a  slot  of  50x23 mm every 200 mm for the possible passage of any technological networks and on the smaller side a central slotting  every  32 mm for assembling of  elements for the fitted office wall.

ADJUSTABLE FEET - The foot is  made of a “U” shaped galvanized steel bracket, obtained by printing, for snap insertion  into the base of the upright  and provided with adjustable screw,  operated with a hex key,  to compensate any disconnecton of the floor and allow leveling of the wall structure.

TOP AND BOTTOM CHANNEL - The channel is made of prepainted galvanized steel, 10/10 thickness, 64x55 mm, aluminium finish. Already equipped  with bi-adhesive gasket, the channel is fixed to the floor for insertion of the upright, allowing a telescopic movement of the two elements to correct any  discrepancies or bending of the slab. The system effectively improves sound-proofing rooms insulation, do to the missing of  some elements of acoustic bridge. On specific demand, however, it is possible to insert a spring pusher on the upper extremity of the upright.

LINKING CROSS BEAM/JACK  BEAM - Jack beam is made of a galvanized steel box-profile fitted to the ends with a  system of hook to the shelves of upright and with cable way holes for vertical technical use. The profile is obtained by press-work  12/10 thick, size  60x30x1000 and 1200 mm in width. The beam  is fitted on both sides of insulation hydro / thermal / acoustic, anti-shock and anti-dust gasket.

“QUEEN” BEAM  FOR NON STANDARD SIZES - The “Queen” beam  is used for less than 1000 mm  and over 1200 mm widths, for beams of 1600-2000-2400 mm width ranges, a part from non standard  widths. The “Queen” beam is made with the upright profile, cut on site or formerly pre-cut,  and is fitted at the ends of special Us, obtained by press-work, which are inserted to the upright shelves, with the same standard of the Jack beam. The beam  is fitted, to the two sides, of co-extruded gasket for hydro / thermal / acoustic / anti-dust insulation.

“U” FOR “QUEEN” BEAMS - The “U” hook is made by press-work of galvanized steel strip, suitably slotted and shaped for solid insertion of the “Queen” beams  to the upright shelves.

LINKINGS - The linkings are made by coupling an extruded aluminum round profile of 80 mm to  2 specular jaws  100x40 mm, also in  extruded aluminum, to make 2 - 3 - 4-way articulated joints and other rays. They are supplied with co-extruded gaskets and fixing accessories. Anodizing silver finish.

STARTING PROFILE FROM WALL  - The starting profile from wall of the office wall partition is achieved by an extruded profile made of plastic material, 100x20 mm, prepared with appropriate shapes to accommodate both starting upright and final panels of vertical adjustments. Aluminum finish.

TERMINAL PROFILE - The end profile is realized with 2 aluminum extruded profiles, trapezoidal base +  snap cover, size 100x40 mm. The profile allows to delimit your vertical  office wall partition at the center of the room, further it is also used to delimit horizontally and vertically Open Space office walls. Anodizing silver finish.

WOODEN ADJUSTING PANELS  - The panels are made of ecological chipboard, anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating, 18 mm thick, covered on both sides by high-strength melamine materials in wood and pastel finishings. Perimeteric edges covered with thick ABS with rounded corners in the same finishes of panels. The materials are E1 class (low formaldehyde emission), fire resistanant Class 2 (on demand fire resistance Class 1). The standard finishes are shown on the appropriate "color chart" (custom requests are evaluated by the technical department). The panels are supplied with hooks and self-centering screws (to be applied on site). Sizes vary depending on the type and forms of the office wall, may be vertical or horizontal. This upright anchorage is made   with a snap hook. This hooking system allows you to quickly remove the panels (with the aid of suction cups), to allow the inspection of the  interspace where  technological systems are. The same hook is prepared  to prevent the release of the panels making the environment inaccessible.

HOOK FOR GLASS MODULES AND PANELS - The hook is made by press-work of galvanized steel strip suitably slotted and drilled for attachment to the panel and the aluminum profile of the glass modules. The hook has also a hole which allows, by self-tapping screw, the firm assembling of the panels and modules to the upright. This system allows you to make a side of the wall inaccessible and secure.

DOUBLE GLASS FRAME - The frames of double-glazed modules are made with extruded aluminum profiles, 40x50 mm and assembled with die-cast squares in specular pairs for a total thickness of 100 mm. Anodizing silver finish.

SINGLE GLASS FRAME - The frames of single glass modules are made with extruded aluminum profiles, 40x50 mm and assembled with die-cast squares in specular pairs for a total thickness of 100 mm. Anodizing silver finish. The frames are fitted with plastic square fittings for the placement of the glass plate to the floor, in the case of full  height module, also on the beam, and in the case of mixed module. Security hooks, to block the glass, are also supplied to be fixed to the two uprights. The modules are supplied with hooks for fixing to the upright, pre-assembled, and transparent gaskets,  between the wall and profile to avoid direct contact of metal and glass and ensure the absence of acoustic and thermic bridges. The glass is 4 or 5 mm thick tempered depending on the  glazing and stratified on thickness of 3 +3 mm on demand.

DOOR  - The aluminum frame is made of extruded aluminum, size 100x40, assembled with die-cast bars. Silver finish anodizing.

SWING WOODEN DOORS - Made in honeycomb wood, 40 mm thick, coated on both sides of the same laminate finishes of closing panels. Thick ABS perimetric edge with angles. The doors are standardly equipped with hinges, handle and “push-open” lock  or "lever".

SWING GLASS DOOR - Made of tempered glass, 10 mm thick, in clear - etched - screen-printed versions. The doors are standardly equipped with hinges, handle and “push-open” lock  or "lever".

MODULES WITH FOLDAWAY SLIDING DOORS , IN WOOD OR GLASS - Made up of two modules one closed  to accommodate  the door being closed. The wooden door is made of honeycomb wood, 30 mm thick, aluminum finish. The door is equipped with "standard" sliding frame , double socket handle with Yale lock. The glass door is made of tempered glass, thickness 10 mm, in clear - etched - screen-printed versions. The door  is standardly equipped with sliding frame and double handle.

THE PLUS OF TECNA WALL HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT - The structure of the partition wall is formed by steel uprights that are based on a profile of galvanized sheet. At the bottom of the upright there is a small feet with a screw system of gradual adjustment  of the top and bottom wire. This feature compensates for any unevenness in the floor or ceiling height and inaccuracies detected.

MODULAR - The partition office wall "Techna" has a depth of 10 cm, the distance between modules is 500 - 1000 - 1200 - 1600 - 2000 -2400 mm and is available  in different types of height.

EASY  AND  RAPID ASSEMBLY - The assembly system uses a "single self-centering screw".  The glass modules are supplied with pre-fixed hooks. The coupling system, both of the panels and of glass modules, to the structure is on “snap”,  without any other intervention.

LATER RESTYLING  - The flexibility of the system  allows rapid disassembly and reassembly of all components according to a new layout with the simple use of  suction cups and normally used equipment. Any changes in the modules and the partitioning of the premises is allowed by the variability of the system. In any environment you are, also operative, the Tecna partition office wall  can be quickly partially disassembled  to be then reassembled according to the new layout. A simple suction cup allows the release of the panels and the uprights are extracted from the guide profiles. It remains only to decide the new location of the walls. The upright  can be cut again  if the  height is lower than the existing one, or if higher, can be increased just adding an upright segment to the existing one and fixed together with specific U.

The full height glass office wall is a modern system to divide the spaces inverting the relationship between wooden and transparent modules. The transparency of glasses allows to have the light and the desired privacy only by applying customized screen printing, renewable and removable any time. The transparency is combined with the filing only by skirting the perimeter of the cabinet with the glass in respect of functionality and aesthetics. The transparency that cancels the diaphragms of the walls,  allowing light to pass through many walls, optimizing interior space and electric energy consumption. The full height glass office wall system consists of  an interlocking combination of many extruded aluminum "exclusive" profiles, creating a solid perimetric load-bearing profile, slim and with considerable aesthetic value.

STRUCTURAL  PROFILE – Realized  by extrusion size 44x30 mm. with specific technical hollows:

  • central hollow for insertion of leveling small feet - for grafting of "L" shaped strenghtening squares with vertical profiles - for technical passage of wires – for passing of tips and fishers to fix the profile to the ceiling and the floor;
  • 2 side hollows for inserting clamping clips of the carter to the snap structural profile;
  • 2 upper hollows for the insertion of the glazing bead profile, 2 side rails, for the insertion of the finishing carter.

CARTER PROFILE – Realized by extrusion in rounded version 70 h mm (44x70h mm total volume) and 60 h mm in square version (44x60h mm total volume) with specific technical hollows:

  • an internal hollow to accommodate the sliding bearings of the sliding door frame;
  • an upper hollow to accommodate  a ballon shaped seal that locks and secures the glass plates;
  • an inserting wing to the banks of the  structural profile, a pawl to the basis for insertion into clips  inserted in the hollow of the structural profile.

GLAZING BEAD PROFILE – Realized by extrusion dim. 12x30 h, with specific technical outlines that allow the snap insertion into the  structural profile hollows, in order to have the blocking function  of the glass plates to  the ceiling.

TELESCOPIC DEPARTURE PROFILE – Realized  by extrusion size 44x40 h with specific technical hollows with insertion for omega profile.

OMEGA TELESCOPIC PROFILE - Realized by extrusion 44x40 h with specific technical  hollows:

  • central hollow for grafting of  "L" shaped aluminium profile fixing the omega profile to the structural profile;
  • 2 upper hollows to accommodate  a ballon shaped seal that locks and secures the glass plates, a pawl for snap insertion to the starting profile;
  • holes for insertion of the adjusters for vertical leveling.

The omega and starting profiles are telescopic, with the function of vertical leveling and rigid coupling when are just used to form the pillars of door frames or of the sliding doors frame.

SWING DOOR PROFILE – Realized  by extrusion size 40x44 h with specific technical hollows – hollow  on the closing side of the glass palte  for insertion of a balloon shaped seal, a pawl for snap insertion on Omega profile.

SWING DOOR FRAME - The frame is realized from  the coupling of the swing door profile  with the omega profile that accomodates  the glass plate of the partition  wall.

FULL HEIGHT GLASS SWING DOOR - Made of tempered glass 10 mm thick in transparent - etched – printed  versions.

FULL HEIGHT GLASS SLIDING DOOR - Made of tempered glass 10 mm thick in transparent - etched - printed versions.

FRAME FOR SLIDING DOOR - Made by coupling and securing the structural profile with a cover on which is practiced a suitable slotting for insertion of the sliding mechanism. Equipped also with other technical accessories for perfect sliding.

PILLARS FOR DOOR FRAME AND SLIDING DOOR FRAMES - Made for snap coupling, of the starting profile with  the telescopic omega profile together with the "L" shaped strenghtening squares between omega profile and structural profile.  The pillars used for sliding door frame have  shall be added with:

  • at the base, with  pressure, with plate having guides for the sliding of glass door;
  • on vertical side with methacrylate profile with whisker.

The pillars  used for passing frames have to be equipped with strenghtening  brackets between  structural profile  and omega profile.

STRATIFIED GLASS PLATES - Made of two coupled glass plates 5 +5 mm each  on intermediate strip of transparent PVB (polyvinyl butirale). The plate thickness 10/11 has a suitable shape to allow on the two vertical sides the specularity with the structural seal in transparent methacrylate. The size and finish of the plates are defined for each project.

STRUCTURAL JOINT BETWEEN GLASS PLATES - Made in transparent methacrylate size 4x10 mm. with shapes to accommodate the glass plates and equipped on the two sides with bi-adhesive seal protected by a film.

MORE WAYS LINKINGS - Made:

  • with extruded aluminum square frame size 44x44 with 4 technical hollows  for inserting of glass plates and specular hollows for inserting of the balloon shaped seal;
  • extruded aluminum profile  with the function of  cover, with snap-on insertion, for the hollows not used for the insertion of the glass plates.

This system allows 2-way linear linking and the orthogonal 2-3-4 ways linking.

VARIABLE LINKING - Manufactured with extruded aluminum round 60 mm profile  on which a “C” shaped profile is set, according to the radius determined, for the insertion of glass plates.

INSPECTIONABLE TECHNICAL  MODULE - Made with coupled extruded aluminum profiles in the version: between glass and glass - between glass and door - between door and door -  between wall and door.

FULL HEIGHT GLASS OFFICE WALL AND PARTITION OFFICE WALL - Made with extruded trapezoidal profile with specific shapes that allow  the union on one side with partition wall panels 100 mm thick  and on the other side with the full height  glass wall structure.

Movable walls are more and more becoming an unavoidable element in the division of work spaces.

At the boundary between furniture and construction, the interior movable walls are, by definition, non-bearing walls, placed in indoor environments and characterized by the concept of modularity. The office walls are classified into four types:

  • movable interior walls;
  • interior equipped movable walls;
  • interior movable walls with stoarage units;
  • interior movable equipped walls with storage units.

Since April 2004 all office partitions placed on the European market must be CE marked, that means compling with the  directive "Construction Products" 89/106/EEC (CPD). In addition, there are two UNI rules that define the terms and classification of movable interior walls, as well as the requirements that  the product must satisfy.

Specifically it is the UNI 10700 which specifies the terminology and classification for interior movable walls and  identifies functional types.The non-bearing interior walls with a function of separation between adjacent areas, consisting of prefabricated modular elements, completely finished before installation, interchangeable without degradation, with elements of the same size but with different types (opaque panels, glass panels, paper shufflers doors ) with or without storage capacity, with or without predisposition for equipment. The inner movable wall is entirely demountable and can be reassembled  in other places, having the same dimensions as the place of origin, without any degradation of components and without need for modification of the same.

While, the UNI 10820 rule  refers to the requirements a product must satisfy. The first part of the rule is concerned with the mechanical requirements, including impact resistance, differentiated according to use (public or private) and resistance to suspended loads; fire resistance, including the reaction to fire, measured on a scale from 0 to 6, and of the sound insulation. The second part of the rule is dedicated to other specific requirements of UNI 10820. The modularity, requirement defined by a predetermined dimensional parameter and coordinated in order to close with multiples and submultiples of the compartment made by the relative walls, the completed ceiling and floor.
